Forthcoming: Jack Kerouac's Ghost
Jack Kerouac's Ghost, a literary ghost story about a writer's quest for inspiration, will be published in the summer of 2010 by Red Wheelbarrow Press.

Coffin Dust
"That dark realm that lies beyond 'the blue zone' has been graced with a fresh and quirky voice, proving once and for all that weird stories need not be bound by stylistic limits set by such classic writers as H.P. Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith." From the foreward by Pierre Comtois.

Reunion
When screenwriter Tom Knowles returns from California to the Massachusetts town where he grew up, he finds his high school is having its 30th reunion. Without much interest, he attends. He encounters his old friend "Brain" Mclain, still living up to his nickname. Brain has designed a holographic show, made from old films of the pre-graduation dance they had.
When the show is cut short by a fierce electric storm, Tom, who is eager to get back to Hollywood, nevertheless finds himself involved drawn into the past. What he finds there threatens to alter his life forever.

The Marble Kite
"In the tough-guy tradition of Raymond Chandler and James M. Cain, Rasmussen’s infectious curiosity and his wry, blinking-innocent humor ... drive the story forward insistently ... with sharply drawn characters and a narrative flow that pulls like a magnet."
--The Bangor Daily News

Goofy Foot
On a routine search for a missing teenager, Rasmussen finds the simple task ballooning into a dangerous ordeal involving murderous surfers. As he investigates the small New England beach town where the missing teen was vacationing with her father, his search pulls him deeper and deeper into a quicksand of treachery and a heart-stopping search for a killer.

White Rabbit
"Dig out your tie-dye and your love beads for this one. It’s a real trip."
--Florida Times-Union

"White Rabbit is a thriller that beats with a rock-and-roll pulse. In capturing the sprit of an age, it does for the 1960s what The Alienist did for the 1890s."
--Boston Herald
